Owner test notifications
One phone, one owner. This page only checks whether a push message can reach this Home Screen app. It never reads your location.

Checking this device…
Step 0: add to Home Screen
iPhone and iPad (iOS/iPadOS 16.4 or later) deliver web push only to an app opened from the Home Screen, not to a Safari tab.
- Open this page in Safari.
- Tap the Share button.
- Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Close Safari and open Owner Test from the Home Screen.
The Home Screen app keeps its own storage, so pairing must be done inside it.
Notifications are blocked
Open Settings → Notifications → Owner Test and allow notifications, then reopen this app. Nothing is sent until you allow them.
You are offline
Buttons are disabled until the connection returns.
1. Pair this phone
Type the one-time owner enrollment code from your Mac. It works once and expires.
2. Allow test notifications
Tapping the button asks iOS for permission and registers this one device with your own server. Nothing happens automatically.
3. Send one test
Sends the fixed text TEST ONLY - delivery check, not weather
. Counts are limited.

What this is not
- Not an official warning, forecast or advisory.
- Not a weather alert and not connected to any weather source.
- Not the native iPhone app. The native app uses Apple Push (APNs) and needs a paid Apple Developer membership.
- An accepted send means the push service took the message; only your phone showing it proves delivery.
